Regulus's mines are sometimes visible without a totem

I've been seeing this intermittently for as long as DG as been out. Sometimes you can see an enemy regulus's mines without having to use a vision totem. Often they end up being visible around towers or flags. You can usually only see 1-2, but there will be more laid down there.

Is this be design?

I can see them when they are thrown down while reg is on screen.

Towers have a limited mini visibilty area around them. Rook's towers also share this.

I have seen them without towers being present as well. Do flags have the mini visibility radius as well?

I always thought that if you could see the mines when they were placed then they were visible for the rest of the game, or until they were used/replaced.  That's why I always wait to toss mines until i neutralize flags.

They're sick!

The hardest thing about them...is remembering to use them though. lol. I forget ALL the time. I love them on Exile and Prison though.
