I've played with vial a few times. It basically heals you for the amount of BotF in the beginning every 45 seconds, so it isn't too different. Late game, it's much much better than BotF. When you get boulder roll you can do a makeshift shield/silence pot with vial (because of the buff to 1 sec cast :D)

  to chime in on the fire TB debate I also believe using BoTS(the mana replenishing favor item) is an absolute waste. 

Heck after level 15 I dont even use a Helm on my fire TB.  I like playing fire TB because its so simple for me to play and doesnt require a lot of thinking ^^,  so obviously I use blood because its benefits are so straight forward..  but I can see the point for the Speed Boots especially since they stack with fire aura.    I also sometimes like to use the melee bonus favor items for TB because it catches a lot of people off guard early games and that gimic is enough to steal me fast wins even over pros if they arent payin close attention.

But if you are squishy and slow I dont see the need for the extra mana staying power early game as there is a good chance u will be pushed out of the lanes anyways.   

You're not playing TB right if your not getting a good benefit off of BotS and getting pushed out easily.

I used blood once. I've used the Blood Soaked Wand more then I've used Blood.

Thats probably why you play da and tb almost exclusively

kalel has started using essence of magic on rook.  I haven't been paying too much attention to his build to see how effective it is, but he seems to dig it.

Some day ill have to try anklet DA just because your DA is amazing although I think my DA build is fabulous.

I played a game against maxsteel who went anklet da. He maxed out demon speed and got journeyman's; he was lightning quick and pretty much an unkillable portal ninjaing machine. You can tele to try to save the portal, but unless you chain stun him he'll be at the other one before you can walk to it on cata lol.

Yeah... it looks like things went kind of standard for me since last time, but then I threw a WTF in there with cape of mana for Frost TB. Vlemish + Permafrost III + Cape of Mana is better than Vlemish + Plenor + Permafrost III from a spam point of view. It gets even better when you have Hungarling + Cape of Mana.

Never found cloak of night to be exceedingly useful on sed.  I think the extra hp on her from blood is pretty damn near essential. 

I use if when I do a pounce / heal build... it's probably not pro enough, but I find heal Sedna is even more boring than Tower Rook. Basically I forgo nature's rec by taking CoN, and focus on delivering damage to Demigods instead of heal / farm support.

I think the "pro" atmosphere and level of game play has long since disappeared from this game so the less than optimal builds can be played with great success.

If you look at LoL's meta I think demigod would have eventually evolved into the same sort of roles. Where you had characters that were the primary damage dealers/tanks/carry (ub, rook, possibly occulus, fire tb, in some cases minion oak) and characters that would play a support role and buy citadel upgrades (QoT, Sedna, Oak, regulus, ice tb). Towards the end of demigods life when the various top players all took their respective leaves I think we saw this sort of game play taking its first baby steps on cataract.

If demigod could be played at a 5v5 level I am sure an amazing meta would of developed where all characters where much more viable.
