I can't uninstall Bootskin Vista (Free)

I can't remove it... I keep getting this: The files necessary to remove Bootskin Vista are not available

Ok.... I haven't added or removed anything regarding the program, I verify it and it says it's not installed correctly to look for an update. After I get that meassage the status for it changes from 'installed' to 'Update available' I right-click the bootskin title in the software list, click update and the status changes again to 'preparing' and then 'error'. I go to close out Impulse and it says "There is a download/update are you sure you want to close Ect, Ect" Bootskin will still run like it is supposed to and everything (as far as I can tell) I just can't get RID of it.... Can anyone help?

Thanks in advance.

EDIT: I just finished downloading a version of bootskin from Cnet thinking if I can just re-install over it then I should be able to finally remove it. But, I am holding off on that untill I hear a few suggestions cause I don't want to mess things up more. I especially don't want to get this startup problem that I have seen alot of posts about when installing this program. I was lucky enough to not have any of that when I installed it the first time, I really don't want to have to deal with that as well....

If Impulse is unable to uninstall it use Revo Uninstaller  set on moderate. After it finishes scanning, delete anything it marks in bold  print. Revo is the only thing I ever use to remove unwanted software. It does a safe, thorough job and leaves little or nothing behind.

Make sure you revert back to the default Windows bootscreen before uninstalling BootSkin Vista.
