Preferred maps?

So my friend and I have finally gotten bored of co-op vs the AI and have started venturing online.  My question is what maps (2v2 and 3v3) do people prefer to play on?  Or failing that, maps people do NOT like at all?  We don't want to pick maps nobody likes when hosting games.

People usually only play on random generated maps. (eg. large single star random)

Normally people play random single star maps.  (Multistar maps can take too long and can end up suffering from lag once people have pumped out large fleets.)  For 4v4 and 5v5 people play the huge random single star and large random single star pretty exclusively.  For 2v2 and 3v3 people will play the medium and medium-large random single star maps.  However, for 2v2 and 3v3 you also have a couple non-random options:

Razor's Edge (2v2 or 3v3)

Convergence (2v2)

Entanglement (probably best for 3v3 but could 2v2)

Gateway (2 stars, probably best for 3v3)

Maelstrom (3v3) -- everyone gets a symmetrical starting spot.

Systems of War (2v2, 5 stars)

Fire and Ice (2v2)
