I received today 4 emails with same msg in different language with a file attached. I'm sure it's a new virus.

I also received 2 of these mails today, they appeared to have been sent by Dangeruss, and were named pseudo_ez and TechAmp. I was immediately suspicious, as Russ and I haven't exactly been on speaking terms since the "Skinz" days, and I doubted he would ask my advice on anything!
Let me stress that these e-mails are NOT from dangeruss, just made to LOOK like they are.
Needless to say, I didn't open the attachments, I just deleted them, as you should do if you receive one. There is obviously someone who is bent on harming the skinning community, as can be witnessed by the recent attack on LotsOfSkins.com,
Where someone abused the delete function and removed many skins.
BE ON YOUR GUARD!!

I received the same e-mail on 7/18/01. Norton Antivirus didn't flag it coming through my email program. I just deleted it, like any unsolicited attachments.

It's not just happening to you guyz in the skinning community. I got the same messages, and I have a website about Miss Universe, Miss USA, and Miss Teen USA. My sender was 'Tony'. I just deleted them. Just to warn, its an all-around virus.

I thought I had escaped this one but then, yesterday I got mailed a different virus/worm combo that comes in two consectutive emails. It's the W95MTXdr virus and came from someone in Argentina who had asked me about where to send winamp skins.

And then today I started getting the W32sircam virus that this thread is about. The sender is unknown to me and the subject line is "Capital Gain 99". In both cases my virus scanner did not catch it.

I don't believe I've been infected but I'm still trying to determine that for sure. What a waste of time!

I searched google.com for any information about this as soon as i got the email virus's/atachments, but there wasn't any info to be found... =/
