[Bug] Problems With Prioritizing Targets

Hello,

[Bug] I've noticed when I play that the some neutral AI vessels prioritize scouts more highly than combat ships.  If a scout is in the system prior to another fleet jumping in, AI Cruisers, LFs, and Siege Frigates will continue to target the scout ship over any other target.  LRFs and Flak, however, will switch to units that they can damage effectively (ie: LRFs target LFs, Flak target fighters/bombers).  Also, if the scout is destroyed or jumps out of the system, the AI will prioritize other ships normally (even if there is a second scout in the grav well).

I think this is normal behaviour. Computer controlled Ships (and also player ships wet to auto attack if I remember correctly) always target the first ship that jumps in. They only switch targets if a better target jumps in, i.e. a ship that can be damged more effectively with the ship's weapons then the current target. As cruisers and LF are strong against scouts, they have no need to switch targerts. An exception are colony ships, they get always attacked with highest priority by the AI ships on neutral planets. Knowing this you can split AI forces to take them out more effectively.

Hmm, I knew about the colony ships being high priority, but I didn't think scouts could also be used like that.  It does seem weird though, when I can have my scout run around the entire grav well being chased by the enemy and they ignore my fleet ripping their butts to shreds.
