hello all
ive only just found the cds for galactic civ 2, so i installed it, and found it would crash on campaign launch. i then tried to update it in attempt to fix the problem but impulse kept saying that the games arnt installed on my pc.
any help would be great, thanks in advance
If the game is registered you can install the newest version directly through Impulse.
yes its registered, i was just saving that as a last resort as downloading the game would take ages and use up quite a bit of bandwidth....
if there is no other way i may have to.
If you've got a very old retail version that predates Impulse, try using the Detect Application option in Impulse's menu to point it to the game's location.
managed to find dark avatar, thanks Kryo, but cant find galactic civilisations 2. The game itself is the gold edition, would this have anything to do with it?
GC2 Gold is the same as installing the base game and DA separately, so it shouldn't make a difference. If Detect App won't work on it, ploease contact [email protected] for further help.
