That's such a bull shit statement. Sorry G. We all know when it's 110 out, that's just damn hot. It doesn't matter if it's 10% humidity or 70% humidity, it's still 110 degrees out. Humidity only comes into play when it's just slightly uncomfortable, like 80 to 90 degrees. In that sense, yeah, humidity plays a good role in making things even more uncomfortable, but above that, who gives a shit... It's just down right damned hot.
Now I've lived on both coasts, so if anyone else has done that, feel free to argue this point with me, but for those that haven't, you really have no way of comparing one to the other. I can tell you for a fact, humidity sucks, but hot is hot.
On that note, while on a trip up to Alaska, it was negative 20 something out... I laughed at everyone dressing up in parkas and shit and said, "What the hell, it's not so bad, it's a dry cold..." No one seemed to enjoy the joke. I don't know, just my twisted sense of humor.
