Was my daughter's birthday on the 10th...  I don't know how it lasted this long, but after 5 days, I finally had to put an end to the party.

Ladies, do yourselves a favor and don't get pregnant from September through November...  That way your kid is born during the school year and you can blame the educational system for ending the fun.  Saying "Sorry sweetie, you have school in the morning." doesn't quite work when they're on summer break.

Yes, her birthday was on the 10th, not that she just turned 10..  She's 15 now.  Believe me, it's a headache.  My other daughter is 16, gonna be 17 in November...  I do wish every day they were still 12 and 13 and good little girls who did everything I asked them to rather then all of the attitude I get when I have to make them do something as trivial as wipe down the kitchen counters...  And the younger one is so boy crazy right now it's ridiculous.  The only thing keeping her in check is the threat that I made to her after sitting her down and looking her straight in the eyes and said as coldly as I could that I would murder any boy that touched her.  She's scared shitless that I will actually do it.  And I probably would just to make a point.
