Basically, this game is played so that the last person who post wins. What do they win? The ThreadKiller's Achievement; The honor of being the last person to post by virtue of the content of their post. However, moderators, admins, and anyone else who has the ability to lock the thread are disqualified from winning the ThreadKiller's Achievement, if they win by locking. If the thread is won by method of locking, the "winner" gains the Achievement Of Reprehensible Epic Lameness.
good thing too, we might have had to kill them... or worse
Turn them into Borg?
no, cover them in tar and feathers then turn them into chicken nuggets... and then into borg
I think I got those at a McDonalds in Sweden once.
they serve borg in sweden?
to me that sounds more like denmark, but whatever
-Exile(\/)
Actually, I think it was Sweden where I found a town named Borg. Hold on...
Goteborg...
Alvs-borg...
Scara-borg...
Gavleborg...
Alborg...
BORG!
Okay, one in Iceland, one in Norway, and Borg el Arab in Egypt (whodathunkit?)
I think that alborg make beer, at least there is a good beer with the name alborg.
harpo
Probably. Alborg is Danish if I'm not mistaken. Those crazy Scandinavians make such good booze.
yes that is the one I was thinking of, and as I am half dane, my beers are fairly good. I have had various strengths from 2.5% to 12.5% in different brews.
an australian danish half breed?
actually the other half decends from english, irish, scottish and welsh. so I am more of a mongrel, with a high bias toward stubborness and not spending if I do not need to.
and as I stated several pages ago I have four sizes of beer
1 taster 375ml
2 small drink 750ml
3 large drink 1l
4 thirst quencher 1.5l
now think about 1.5l of 12% alcohol beer and how you wold be after drinking it.
for non-australians the likly result is
Sorry to break it to you, but some of us are also Northern European mutts (with a hint of Semite), and we can handle ourselves. I have one friend that downed a whole handle of whiskey and didn't even flinch. The beer might just make him bloated (mass and all).
the main difference between the intoxicating effects of spirits/still wines and beer is the carbon dioxide in the beer/sparkling wine, seems to potentate the alcohol to over twice the actual percentage. this is from observations comparing 1 litre of port(20%) and vodka(40%) vs 1 l of 8% beer. the feeling of the beer was similar to the feeling from vodka more than the port, but with no effect for me the next day
proof it and fill co2 in you vodka and see for yourself if it is enhancing the effects of the alcohol (i doubt it)
good point. Unless you test it out using the same alcoholic mixture with CO2 added, it's not totally reliable. For example, I've found that my girlfriend gets about the same hit from white wine as she does from champagne, although one has CO2 and the other not. On the other hand, she can drink far more vodka (straight) than she can wine. My observations suggest that whenever sugar is added to the alcohol, the sugars stimulate absorption and the alcohol just hitches a ride. I've mixed varying beverages using vodka (some with fruit juice, some with sodas, and others with non-sugary beverages) and found that the reactions are highly varying. Perhaps a large influence is due to the sugar content or other impurities (after all, that is what makes a drink what it is) in the beverage.
Ideas or thoughts?
add sugar to your vodka and find out (although you sound a lot more plausible then harpo)
Or does he...
Like I said, I used vodka in a fruit drink and again with soda. The fruit drink hit her harder and the soda didn't (keep in mind high fructose corn syrup is very diffrent from fructose).
beware of the vodka god, he will smite you if you insult him further by defiling his gift to humanity
I think he's cool with grape juice, cranberry juice and a splash of key lime. Anyone?
i don't think so, infidel
methinks he's not a fan of the mixed drink, the beverage of the mutt.
Methinks he doesn't drink at all...his theft of my sig carry's with it the stench of a child...
what you 'think' is no relevant
what is relevant is that you both talk like jar jar binks
