While normally I'd agree with such an assessment on how humidity affect the feel of the temperature, having lived in both types, I can honestly tell you that at some point humidity ceases to matter. Hot is just hot wet or dry. The only difference is personal preference over which is less uncomfortable. For me, personally, I prefer the humid hot over the dry hot, because the dry hot kills you much faster. Humid hot, you feel it coming, dry hot, you just drop dead.
