If Karma = invites Draak, think of this. Your little forum girlfriend would get invited to the party before you, me, tesb, and ghost4000 combined, and still have people in front of us in line to get in.... I don't know about you guys, but from someone who's used to skipping lines and going in through side entrances... THAT is just depressing. This leads me conclude that Karma doesn't equal shit, and those that base their popularity off of it are fools. =D I'll take my low Karma and not wait in line, thank you very much.
That's wtf I said up there... however, I did make it a point that too much karma (Like Harpo, Annatar and Ryat's, for example) is often just a result of them getting karma for posting things. On another level, people who get karma for legit reasons often aren't Mr. Popularity, but have a higher, more decent, level of respect from others compared to ppl who get karma just to have more karma.
A few things... first: 15+15+10=40. I have 33 karma. 
And most of my karma is for simple, albeit stupid things like funny pictures of vids I post, being a fan of something other ppl are fans of, posting lude pix or vids (ppl are pervs...). The only karma I feel like I deserve is the 7-9 karma I have for posting a statement worth quoting, posting some odd philosophy that no-one ever thought of before, and that one I have for "A good post about the storyline". IMO: everything else is just blah. I don't base popularity on the forums off of karma, I base popularity off of how the person talks in respect to others, and how others talk to them.
