Last person to post wins, unless they are a moderator or admin.

Basically, this game is played so that the last person who post wins. What do they win? The ThreadKiller's Achievement; The honor of being the last person to post by virtue of the content of their post. However, moderators, admins, and anyone else who has the ability to lock the thread are disqualified from winning the ThreadKiller's Achievement, if they win by locking. If the thread is won by method of locking, the "winner" gains the Achievement Of Reprehensible Epic Lameness.

and another large catch of fish.

the cyats are going to enjoy this catch, and might even offer some to their pets which they call ryats.

Syneptus, I already commented on your avatar on another thread. Geez, harpo's fishing for posts and you're fishing for compliments.

We do have concealed handgun licenses in Texas, allowing you to wear a piece on you as long as it is hidden from view and not taken into places barring weapons (such as post offices, places serving alcohol, etc.).
End of Draakjacht's quote

In AZ we can do this as well and walk into places like bars, though still barred from the post office.

Personally my policy is to match the cost of a nice gun every year and use the moneys to help someone

good, maybe if enough people did so we wouldn't need guns to protect

sadly there is still not enough

As long as someones willing to create em and sell em and push em to third world countries the market will always be there.

I don't think anything I do will make a dent in that problem, but I'd rather promote peace.

the problem with helping people is that there is always someone willing to turn it around on you. I know a guy who used student loans to pay for his car and house and then filed for bankruptcy. Bastard legally stole a quarter million from the banks and government.

It's like communism. A nice idea, but reality just keeps getting in the way.

And then they tightened up the bankruptcy laws...

I don't think anyone will have a chance to abuse my offerings.

well, beyond that, I have over a dozen weapons. I do not hunt. I do not shoot at people. I do not shoot at living things.I have promoted no war. The people I buy these firearms from do not supply any country with firearms. Most of the firearms are surplus sold off by countries (Greece in one case) to supplement cash which they spend on other things (such as Greece buying... well, apparently nothing useful).

I've promoted peace as much as the average.

peace can only be enjoyed when those who revel or use violence as a means to end are removed from the equation

man is incapable of doing so

thus far. man has only a semblance of a clue what it is capable of. Many have theorized that our salvation lies with ourselves and, even then, hopes we come to that realization before it is too late.

Hope for the best; prepare for the worst.

Better to illuminate than merely to shine, to deliver to others contemplated truths than merely to contemplate. Therefore, it is better to drink a beer than to piss it all away. I hold these truths to be self evedent.

You started off with the wisdom of the Bodhivista and ended with a misspelling of the Declaration of Independence...

so... yeah...

Not harming and helping are vastly different things.  I'd rather try to help others than sit here and help myself.

Sup guys,

Glad you all like the apple juice spin, was toying with the ideal for a while which in turn came from Alien Nation when they were getting drunk off spoiled milk.

Can't wait to see on how you guys include it into your lore as well. I figure there is natural chemical in apples which has an alcohol like effect on the Vasari. Most have nanites in their bodies so I figure human alcoholic drinks will have little effect on them since the nanites will scrub it out of their systems, but apples, which they never came in contact could have this effect on them. :puke:

And on a somber note, to the families who lost loved ones on the Megabus crash near Syracuse, NY. My condolences.

MegaBus is one of our rivals here in the NorthEast to Greyhound. They been using double decker buses thet can hold at least 60-65. And I always knew that if a driver screws up, it will be fatal for those sitting up there, not to mention, you can't rely on GPS that was intended for a car, not a high profile vehicle...

The bus height is 13'0". The bridge is 10'9". Do the MATH!!!!!!

love the poll towards the end

seriously? the guy was using a GPS and that caused the wreck, the poor bridge had nothing to do with it

Hopefully they don't try to blame GPS. The guy should have been watching the road the same as any trucker has to.

@Savyg I never mentioned any charities or other activities I do. Simply making a point that firearm ownership is not the same as supporting war.

a very good point

often now days US troops are used (as in the case of Iraq and Afganastan) to help with building projects and other charity projects

and they carry guns and are trained to use them better then both me and Draak

some of them. I've shot with those guys. Except for the marine snipers (and even then not always) they don't overly impress.

But yes, guns are multi-faceted tools.
