Ironically he died in the same hospital my wife's grandfather is in, was even admitted at the same time

not sure if I would say that's ironic, but it is interesting. But hey, he's held on longer than the little guy, so good for him.

It is only hip surgery though I guess he is developing pneumonia so we will see how things go

Hell, maybe he'll get lucky and go downhill before he gets discharged. Saves on all the re-admittance paperwork.

Well, I did debate how bad you would take it, but since doctors seem disinterested in taking care of someone until they are either bordering on death or are missing a rather important body part, it's actually better that he have something occur while he's already there. Then the white coat wearing bastards already have him taking up space and are forced to improve his condition. I was missing a part of my fucking hand and the sons of bitches took nearly two hours to put the damned thing back on and then charged me the rest of my arm after. I could have gotten my leather needle and a bottle of whiskey for twenty bucks and come out none the worse.

So what it comes down to is this: He better have a mean ass cough while a doctor is nearby in order for them to take care of what everyone else sees at blatantly obvious.
