single player mods are good. for example a way to set your level/gold/warscore for testing strategies would be a nice function.
this would be a very good for testing newly created item/spells and overall balancing of the game.
The best way to do this would be to have a combined mini tutorial that evolves into a horde mode. And you have the tutorial skippable for people who play, and the horde mode has a highest score kinda leaderboard.
Or Something with a plot, perhaps fighting against lower level peons in different areas before you face off against "boss" style overpowered regular dg's?
An art of denfense mod would be fun, huge armys of creeps spawned at you in waves with no enemy demi gods, could be a blast =]
Gonna make a Survival mode at some point, just that coding in for more than 2 teams or a single team is a massive overhaul, so we need to wait for 1.19/1.20 and after we do loads of other stuff before getting into that, but it'll come. ![]()
You should have rows of towers and a single demigod to defend them. It starts off with a single Archer and a comment like 'Wow that was a piece of piss huh?'
Then add some more archers. Then Minotaurs. Then some angels. Then mix it up a bit. Add a single wave of preists. Then a small mix and keep increasing while half way through have a single Giant wave. Then add lots more guys.
All the time have your guy able to buy citadel upgrades but nothing else. If you die the next wave gets Catapults ![]()
Then throw in Giants and then Demigods and finally have the last wave as 100 Giants and 4 level 20 Rooks with Tower upgrades, hammer slam and structal transfer and the All Fathers Ring... and maybe throw in a Hybrid Beast as well for kicks ![]()
