VistaStudio Logons and Bootskin themes are created with the programs themselves. In other words, I make VistaStudio Logons which you can find in my gallery, usung the VistaStudio Logon Program As far as WindowsBlinds Skins, that gets a little more complicated. Stardock SKS Skinnning Studio (up to here all programs come with ObjectDesktop) and Adobe Photoshop are the standards along with other programs like C4D  and other modelling programs. I have never made  WindowsBlinds skin, next on my list. :) I hope this helps you some. Hopefully others will post after me. :ninja:

skyzyk hit the nail on the head. Good luck to you and I look forward to seeing your work. BTW, skin studio has a free trial period, and should you decide to invest in the programs, talk to stardock sales about bundles, etc. To learn more about the programs, look in the WinWikipedia (http://wiki.wincustomize.com/wiki/Main_Page)

Although they are no longer supported, you can still download Bootskin and LogonStudio for XP from download.com.

Bootskin:  http://download.cnet.com/BootSkin/3000-2105_4-10257781.html?tag=mncol

LogonStudio:  http://download.cnet.com/LogonStudio/3000-2344_4-10328443.html

Bootskin for XP, in particular, is tricky.  You're best bet for creating them is to also download Bootskin Buddy: http://hypknotic.deviantart.com/art/BootSkin-Buddy-30733603

If you want to sort of "cheat" at Logon, you can download this Logon and follow the instructions on changing the wallpaper:  http://boss019.deviantart.com/art/My-Very-Own-Logon-32414672
