Not a shoddy fractal!

Apparently shoddy fractals look better on the featured list of wallpapers than my photographic artwork. But I don't really mind that.

I'm not even going to bother trying to do "better", because there was nothing wrong with my image.

Obviously that's just my opinion, and the mod, who thought it was not on par with the tons of abstract fractals on display, disagree.

Anyway, there's a wallpaper in my gallery that would love some comments... Don't just tell me what you like about it, also tell me what sucks (and the other way around too ;P)...

Currently all walls are voted on by all the active mods. No individual mod decides.

As I understand it the new site will eliminate wallpaper moderation for the most part so you may want to re-submit after the new site comes online.

Oh, I got it backward then.

I'm not going to reupload anything just to make a feature page. I'm not very bothered by the fact that I got "shot down" either. You can't feature everything. I made this post primarily to make people realise I have stuff in my gallery (though it's not so much). ;)

If that is the reason then you probably should have tallked more about your walls, picked a better title for the thread and added a link to you WC Home Page or Gallery.

I think it did bother you and you do mind because you are proud of your the work you do on your walls.  Not a thing wrong with that.:sun:

True, it bothers me a bit, but I'm not very bothered. ;)

I did consider linking my gallery, but I decided against it because... well... I didn't feel like it really. :P

Mickeko - I downloaded it and gave it a look.  I agree....I much prefer your upload to the fractals that make it every day (I'm not a fan of fractals, they bore me).  However, my tastes are rarely in sync with the mod's tastes.   I left a comment, BTW.

I HATE all the fractals.  But that is just my opinion and I'm welcome to it.  I'm not sure I like the un-moderated wallpaper idea either.  Have you seen the crap that makes it into the wallpaper galleries at other places?  Here goes WC, down the toilet in that respect.

Thanks for the comments. I'll upload some original photo walls too, it probably looks less dull to anyone who's not as familiar with Stockholm as I am. After all, (IMHO) it's the best picture I managed to get with the camera I had back then, it's worth it. :P

No more moderating for wallpapers! So I can upload a black screen, then a blue one, then a green one. And when I run out of colours I can vertically flip the black one and re-upload. Please keep wallpaper moderation, please!  :(
