Error message on updates

from Stardock Forums

Today  Impulse said it had an update but ech attempt said error. I uninstalled it and downloaded it from the website to get the newest version. Now there is an update to windowblinds but it says error when trying to update as well. Should I do the same thing and reactivate it? I hate to do that since I did pay for it and I know there are limited activations.

Window blinds is also not working properly although it says it is.  It's not letting me change wallpaper right now and for months it wont start up with the skin I had picked. It keeps reverting back to xp.

This may get better responses if it was moved to the Support forum. Just a suggestion.

The wise always listen to the duck.( The best support you'll find anywhere imho, though not "official" SD support) Note the bold drive letter? I think he is giving you a clue.

On the website then? I guess.

At the very top of this screen, you'll see the category that this thread is posted in. It is:

Home > OS Customization > Windowblinds

What he meant by moving it to the support forum is to put it here:

Home > Stardock Support

Support items get answered by Stardock Support much more timely if they're on the "Support" forum. Of course, user support is offered on the whole forum, but Stardock's official support team is directly reached through the "Support" forum.

Of course, you may also want to e-mail them, like Philly stated in reply #2.
