All right this is more of a general survey of how people are playing Sins of a solar Empire and its expansion, Entrenchment.

Alright, for those who are going to respond to this post, I generally want the post in this general format. Please stick the postings to the survey cause it will be interesting by the time I am done with this :)

So the formating, just copy and paste the following and answer accordingly...:

  1. Do you "own" your copy of sins? (don't be ashamed if you don't)
  2. Do you own entrenchment?
  3. Let say you were to divide you time between Vanilla and Entrenchment sins, what percentage of time do you play Vanilla or Entrenchment?
  4. Roughly how many hours a day do you play Sins (either)(count mutliplayer also)?
  5. If you play Vanilla Sins, do you play with mods?
  6. If you answer yes to 5., what mods do you play with?
  7. If you play entrenchment, do you play with mods?
  8. If you answer yes to 6., what mods do you play with?
  9. If you play with 2 or more mods on either sins, do you play one more than the other?
  10. Do you play multiplayer? and which one (vanilla or entrenchment or both)?
  11. If you answer yes to 10, do you play with mods?
  12. If you answer yes to 11, what mods do you play with?
  13. Do you think you will buy the next expansion: dipolmacy?
  14. Of course, do you think this survey is long?

What I meant by vanilla sins is the original sins without entrenchment...

ok, here are my answers to my own question:

  1. Do you "own" your copy of sins? (don't be ashamed if you don't) yes

  3. Let say you were to divide you time between Vanilla and Entrenchment sins, what percentage of time do you play Vanilla or Entrenchment? depends, roughtly 40-60
  4. Roughly how many hours a day do you play Sins (either)(count mutliplayer also)? 3 to 10 (wow, to be honest)
  5. If you play Vanilla Sins, do you play with mods? yes
  6. If you answer yes to 5., what mods do you play with? soa 2 00.3c
  7. If you play entrenchment, do you play with mods? yes
  8. If you answer yes to 6., what mods do you play with? distant star
  9. If you play with 2 or more mods on either sins, do you play one more than the other? Definetly
  10. Do you play multiplayer? and which one (vanilla or entrenchment or both)? No
  11. If you answer yes to 10, do you play with mods?
  12. If you answer yes to 11, what mods do you play with?
  13. Do you think you will buy the next expansion: dipolmacy? Definetly

Own Entrenchment, play only SP with ManShooter's explosions mod (but very little lately - too busy), will buy Diplomacy as soon as it is released.

My friend did play a dozen hours of Sins and never bought the game - he played it on my PC.

n3rull, please point out where your 'friend' registered on the developer's boards and answered the survey. If he didn't, your criticism is as inaccurate as your calling me a "nazi" is.

Finally, just pointing out that my first post in this thread actually *did* answer the survey.

Yes, I own it.  Physical disc.

Yes, downloaded a month ago.

Requiem, Sacrifice of Angels 2, 7DeadlySins (haven't actually tried it yet)
