Sound Packager 1.20

Vista 64bit

http://the1guru.wincustomize.com/

Well I have searched for a week now and have had no luck finding any posts on why the latest version of Sound Packer does not run with Vista Ultimate 64 bit. Each time I attempt to launch I get Sound Packager - Ear Candy for your Desktop has stopped reponding. I have unistalled it, rebooted, reinstalled to no avail. What's real interesting is it ran fine untill recently when Impulse has been updated like 4 or more times in the last week or two.

Does any one have any Idea's ????B) I just want it to work :banhammer:   :waaaa: Thanks in advance

Sounds like you're having the same problems as me, nothing from Stardock on this?

Ditto, though I have noticed that when you reinstall there is the following error in the applications error log:

regsvr32.exe
    6.1.7100.0
    49ee9595
    kernel32.dll
    6.1.7100.0
    49eea7a6
    c0000005
    000111b0
    a78
    01ca43a963efd2ef
    C:\Windows\SysWOW64\regsvr32.exe
    C:\Windows\syswow64\kernel32.dll
    a2669e3e-af9c-11de-a047-001fe1fe34ff

I even tried cleaning the reg and system drive but get the same no go....looks like oct 22 will be best bet cuz I will have the fresh retail installed...

Hiya!

I'm not really sure if this forum is the right place to tell about my Soundpackager problems, but anyway i put it here, so here's my problem:

I installed SP in my Windows 7 Ultimate x86 machine and it installed it correctly, and then i opened it, but when i tried to apply soundpackage it stopped working, it says to me "Ear Candy For Your Desktop Stopped Working, Close Program", it keeps doing it 24/7, though this is the first time ever i try to use SP but still, can you please help me how to get this work properly? I have latest Impulse installed too.
