I try to update Sins and I get a message saying i need to either update or restart impulse before i can install or update anything. I've tried restarting multiple times, how do I update?? Please help!!
if in vista, make sure you allow the update to run as an administrator. uac catches it on my pc and prompts if i want to do it. i say yes, and it runs.
worst case, uninstall impulse, reinstall impulse and it should be the latest version.
okay it seems i had to restart my COMPUTER, and not just impulse, and the auto update worked this morning. i added it to the firewall exceptions list, maybe that helped? cause i have that uac crap turned off lol

Sorry for bring a dead post back to life by having some what the same problem. I got board so I logged into my impulse account and redownloaded sins it installed and everything just fine and I played it a few times but I wanted to play online so I go to log in and it tells me old sins dectected make sure my I am up to date. So my problem it impulse is telling me I am up to date version 1.191 so I am confused. What am I suppose to do?
