So is it safe to say sins is le caput? I come here once in a while now and it seems like nothing is happening.
I hope IC has just given up on the Expansion and is putting resources into a sequel!
Systems instead of planets!!!
Three races: Supreme Commander (vanilla), Sins, Starcraft, Age of Mythology (pre-The titans), C&C, + tons more.
Very few companies have the time and resources to properly balance more than two races without making them carbon-copies of each other (blizzard aside, obviously).
Sins has hit this very common RTS pothole, that has become a sinkhole, let's hope it can claw its way out...

Star Wars Battlefront had 6 playable races?
Company of Hero's only had one until the expansion...
and C&C Generals had 3, and then like 9 or more with sub-divisions, as inspired by the RA2 style of different nations having different units...
Age of empires 3 and rise of nations had more than 3.
Although, rise of legends only had 3.
Battle for Middle Earth 2 ended up with what, 7 races with the expansion? Not sure how balanced it all came out though.
Not very. There was a community patch for that game.
Not to mention they got rid of all the best stuff from BFME1.
Yeah that was really odd. The coolest thing about BFME was having huge walls and towers to have your guys on/inside, but the downside was not being able to build it yourself. Then in BFME2 they let you bild how you want but wouldn't let you go on the walls. WTF!?
I heard rumors that some polish site was giving out free sins of a solar empire keys... whats this?
What are you 5 years old? Do you need instant gratification all the time? Take some Ridalin and be calm. Good games take time. Good expansions do too. theres plenty of sins mods to play and almost infinent number of maps to try.
If it's a polish site, they're probably ACTUAL keys that have no use whatsoever. 
Warcraft 3 pretty successfully balanced 4 races.
Yes, after a full expansion and about 20 patches. Made possible only with Blizzard's giant pool of cash from WoW. No other company can afford to do that, and even then the result still isn't as good as Starcraft ended up.

Um, there were two pre-expansion. Wehrmact just didn't have a campaign. They did manage to get that pretty balanced before throwing it off a cliff with the terrible expansions.
