Studio 17 laptop for those who might be familiar

Just above the keyboard on my Studio 17 laptop I have keytouch commands for volume and for the DVD player. I can play pause and stop and things like that.

 

My problem is that when I power up my laptop  one of those buttons stays always on. (forward) stays on all the time. So I cannot use any other comands. It,s like if I was pressing that button continously.

 

Anybody know how I can fix that?

Likely cause is mechanical....stuck contact/button.

If not then it's a circuit board short [warranty issue] or an audio proggy has hijacked the 'control' and is itself locked in ff...[software issue].
