Looking for a few good players....

Hello, so the point of this post is too see if i can find a few good players to make a team with. I have only played PUG's so far (pick up groups) I have met a few people in my time playing but no body that I play with often. I would like to form a group (3 to 4) people counting myself and do some pre-made matches to play vs premade teams since thats where it seems the real strats are. I have a ventrillo server we can use for this, your rank must be 800+ for me to even consider you someone I would like to form a pre-made team with. My current rank is 471. I have been playing this game for about two months now and I am tired of doing PUG'S and Pantheon and want to try going aginst some pre-made teams. If this intrests you contact me in game (I_KILLED_A_DWARF)  I host at least 3 games a day. You can also contact me via private message here on the forums. Also to be a part of this group I ask that you spend at least 10 hours a week playing demigod. Once clan wars is released I would hope to take this group into a clan.

Wait... what?

If you judge a player based on rank alone, I'm willing to bet you'll miss out on a lot of great skill. But, far be it from me to criticize your hypocritical methods.

Oh, and for all those wondering... I might be back... inbetween bouts of Armored Core and Blazblue... maybe...

I've never seen you in any pro games.

Also the majority of good players use custom instead of pantheon, so they have crappy rank.

hmmm you must have a problem reading .... i said all I play are pugs and host games.... with the occisional panteon mixed in... mmmm hmmm its called comprehensive reading, maybe you should try it sometime.

 

Also look my name up and look at my "games list" almost all the games I play are labled "Pro"

 

Read before your speak and do some research too. Can save you a lot of embarrassment.

You should take your own advice and read what he said, he is not saying you are bad because you played pantheon, he is saying that most good player will not have the rank you are looking for cause they mostly play custom games.

And you label all your games pro? danm you must be good.

lol well i try to play only aginst good players :D how else should I label them?

 

and agin comprehensive reading does the world good. I said all I play are custom games with the pantheon mixed in once in a great while.

Well rank and win percentage and useally if you have a low win % then you have a crap rank. It goes hand and hand. Also I would hope the person I am considering playing with has at least 200 games under their belt.

Just Forget man you seem to don't undeerstand my point, and labeling a game "pro" will make it harder to find good players and easier to find the jerks.

A side note about the "Pro" games in custom :

I would say that I am a average player and far from being a "Pro".  Although when I choose a game to join in custom mode, I regularily join those "Pro" games because imho, I think that a lot of people create "Newbs only" and "Pros only" game without being honest about their real skills.

I haved destroyed people that call tehmselves "Pros" and I've also been destroyed by "Newbs" players. So bottom line, I dont think i'm the only player joinning a game solely on the map name and the number of player currently in the game...

I know thats why its so unfornate today I have played about 6 games and not one was what i call a real "even matchup" until we fought a premade team, that was a good fight but we still won. People need to start looking at ranks when people join their games qwhich is what i try to do, anyone below a 50% win rate i useally kick, but that most of the time does not even help much. They need a ladder system in this game like Star Craft had imho.

As I see it, ranks don't say sh*t. I usually look at the amount of games they played instead of the rank. and win/loss ratio is not a good factor to go with because it's highly dependend of who they play with.
