WindowBlinds 7 Beta 2 bug reports

Beta 2 of WindowBlinds has been released.  This build focuses on UI enhancements.

The previous UI is still the default from Impulse.  You can access the new (amazing!) UI from your start menu, or from the button in the old UI (screenshot)

Post anything that looks odd.  Make sure to give us your WB system information from the WB app, your OS (including 32 or 64 bit), and if it's hard to explain (or even if it isn't) a screenshot.

Sorry to keep bringing this up ... but ... it's been a week since the last post, I've done two Impulse updates in that timeframe, and still, WB 7 shows the 8/5/09 date and build 191.

So, any idea when we are going to actually see build 192?

Also, apart from sorting the items in the Desktop tab by last update, is there any way to see what "updates" are applied when Impulse is updated?

Still 2 issues :

- Per App on apps on a network drive seems to be broken

- Teamviewer still has a missing titlebar (was the same with WB 6)

hmmm... apparently I'm the only one who has an issue with the minimize button. Have been using pale moonlight II by jazzmjr for a month now and never had an issue with any of the buttons. Since the upgrade (which is spectacular btw ) I can click the min button in any window to my hearts content and nothing happens. I have to go to task bar and right click to the minimize in that menu to get it to go down.

Same here.

Explorer backgrounds don´t work for me with win7 64bit.

Using Vista Ultimate -

1) explorer texture dissappears when you maximize the window

2) When selecting a folder from the folder tree the text dissappears after selection and you roll the mouse away.. Aero Executive design..

The beta is really awesome stuff.. And I know work in progress!!

One nice feature, because window 7 supports themes, is an option to save the whole thing as a theme

Explorer backgrounds not working on 64 bit Windows 7 is a known issue that has been resolved internally.  The next update will fix this.

The update is available through Impulse.  Have fun

Wow, works perfect and looks so cool, but now i have a new question.

What can i do to have for every skin an own explorer background?

I don't think I understand.  Can you ask a different way?

Oh, sorry, but i come from germany and my english is very bad.

I want to create for every WB-skin a diffrent explorer background and if i open WB and apply a skin, then have it automatically his own background.

Hope, you can understand me.

I cannot get explorer backgrounds to work on full screen. They work when I restore down but disappear when I restore up to a full screen.

Cheers

Another small issue.

Using the old interface I am able to change the color of the Window.

I cannot find this option in the new interface. The reason I ask is that I do not like a dark window in Office products.

Cheers

That's the problem with the new UI: you can't right now (but you can do in old UI mode ... Hope Stardock will fix that problem fast ... >_> )

I have lost my system tray icons when using any skins other than the default windows theme.  It was fine today until I updated the Window Blinds 7 udpate that was just released.  Any idea what I can do to fix this issue? Or do I need to wait for another update?

Adamant and other skins, not all, minimize and restoring a maximized window, results in thick borders.

I have dual monitor setup and this only seems to happen on my main display, monitor 2, and only when the taskbar is on it.

Update: With build 220 I no longer have the min maximized problem in the adamant skin, but I still have the same problem in the RIP (and RIP_2007) Skin, in addition to a new problem; Firefox maximized on the second monitor, isn't filling the monitor, it leaves a gap all the way around.
