How I think a Twisted Metal movie could work + My Dream Cast

I was bowsing YouTube last week, and noticed that there are a truckload of fan trialers for a Twisted Metal movie (this one is the best, by the way), and it got me thinking: how could a Twisted Metal movie work? after some consideration, I figured that since the games pride themselves on insanne action and--how shall we put it--"out there" characters (like a homicidal clown driving an ice cream truck and a possessed tank), the best director for the job would be Quinten Tarentino.

Why? Well, with of the aforementioned crazy action, crazier characters, and insane cars, the Twisted Metal franchse is perfectly suited for a campy, grindhouse-style flick, which Tarentino specializes in. After all, when your cast of characters includes the Grim Reaper riding a motorcycle and a crazed construction worker driving a payloader, you can't exactly expect your movie to be called the next Hamlet.

With that out of the way, I present my dream cast for the movie I seriously hope will hit theatres in my lifetime.

Calypso = Jackie Earl Haley

Roadkill = Kurt Russill

Sweet Tooth = Mickey Rourke

Shadow = Keanu Reeves

Pit Viper = Angelina Jolie

Warthog = Christian Bale

Thumper = Tyrese Gibson

Crimson Fury = Jason Statham

Darkside = Micheal Ironside

Twister = Gewneth Paltrow (sp?)

Yellow Jacket = Jet Li

Axel = Micheal Clarke Duncan

Spectre = Zachary Quinto
