SleepyForest - Constant trolling but still not banned?

The developers don't care about this game or forums anymore

I just report every obvious troll post I see.  Hopefully they'll use the ban eventually...

Yes they do, trust me on that.  I'll try to get in touch with someone that can potentially take action.

Well if thats what you think then why are we still getting patches? Stardock isn't an uber large company and they have many games forums they have to watch. They can't catch everything.

Can someone remind me what happened with Chaosnaska (sp?) I think he was banned from the forums AND the game.

That was a Critical hit with the Banhammer.

It looks like someone forgot to put me on the list to get the report notices for the Demigod forums, so I only see what I come across in my rounds. If there are actually reports being sent, I'll have someone get me on the list as I should be.

And the developers are GPG, not Stardock. Stardock only takes the heat from us.

A little banhammering on SleepyForest head would be both fun and useful. Just a thought...

I beleive Chas was insulting most everyone; including FB, gay people, you name, it, but if I remember right, it was his insuts towards FB and the mod that was trying to nicely "quiet" him down that did him in. I beleive he got a "forced refund" on his demigod, and was kicked off the forum and out of the Online part of the game permanantely.  I could be wrong, it was quite a while ago.

Sleepyforest is not THAT bad when compared to Chaosnaska. But it's like comparing a sociopath to a psychopath - we don't want either of them.

why do you think there are no posts from "Foreshadowed" any more... he got hit with the ban hammer and had to make a new account for forums, hence Sleepyforest

i think when they ban u they ban ur IP as well... so unless he when out and bought a new computer, IPS and moved a few blocks to the right then i think it might be a diffrent person.

they just banned his forum account, doubt that includes an ip ban

IP bans are useless anyway; there're always thousands of proxies for the guys who want to just keep coming back.

now 2 weeks is quite a long time to be inactive however it's the right time frame at least for an angry troll to make a new account.  however we'll never know unless an admin does an IP check or something.  so Kyro maybe u should have look into this?

ip bans are saved for the big times like if they come back and continue it or if you're just really bad.

At least Foreshadowed's actual game skills are quite good.

everyone elses = citizen (1)

You don't need a new comp for this - just to change your IP. Mine allows me to do it if I wanted for example (static IP - get X changes free before I have to pay)

If he's circumventing a previously set restriction (which I wasn't aware of), then I'll be placing the same on his new account, regardless of his behavior since.

those 2 weeks where he was gone, the forums were actually tolerable again. i've been reporting nearly all of his troll posts. totally amazed that nobody has done anything. surely there's got to be more moderators than just Kryo working this forum, right?

With all the reports, it should be easy to take action.
