This is a 1v1 situation verse a Sedna. You can counter her with anything but another Sedna.

The idea is to win the match by being superior in a 1v1 scenario.

 

This situation takes place on Crucible, the game is Conquest.

Your warscore is 5 and Sedna's warscore is 4.

Sedna has currently spent 6700 gold, this includes the initial 1000.

Early game you got a kill for 600 gold hooray!, so you have 7400 gold at your disposal for this situation. This includes the 1000 starter gold.

 

Our Sedna:

Currently lvl 8

Build:

  Heal 2,                  500 mana, heals 900 hp.

  Healing Wind 2,      24 HP per second.

  Inner Grace 2,        15 HP per second, 10% movment.

  Pounce 2,              525 mana, 600 damage.

 

Favor Item: Blood of the Fallen, 800 hp, 5 HP per second

 

Items Bought:

High Priests (oh exploitable)

Banded Armor

Unbreakable Boots

Nimoth's Chest

Vlemish Faceguard

No citadel upgrades

A bit silly, you're assuming that you have a higher warscore than her. I'd play either Erebus batswarm build, or TB Permafrost/Fire Aura (with either Rain of Fire or Fire Nova), get flag locks and scrolls, and play guerilla flag capping with her. Favor item Swift Anklet. Get Gold1 from citadel. She'll never catch you, your warscore will always be higher, get to cats/giants first, gg, especially if you are TB.

If Sedna rides the waves, you'll have all the flags. If she plays flag capping, she can't rank up faster than you. I suggest having gold flag on constant lock.

I just played vs a sedna today, i was lvl 18, frost tb, my items were blood of the fallen, narmoths ring, nimroths plate, groffling warplate, mageslayer, slayers wraps - wand of speed - flag locks - town portals
points in rain of ice, permafrost, stats, nova, deep freeze...

something like 6-7k hp, 54% armor, 500 dps, 20% life steal, pretty imba i would have thought

...and there was no way in hell the lvl 14 sedna was going to die! she wasn't even using high priests exploit!

I was shocked.

Crazy healing ability + pounce spam = gg

We bashed on each other for a few mins until one of us got bored xD

BUT 4 LEVEL DIFFERENCE + STATS WTFBBQ

I am still saying that a Ooze UB (as stated earlier in this thread) should have a good chance against the mentioned Sedna.

An Ooze UB deals a lot more dps thanks to autoattack+ooze, slows Sednas autoattackspeed (wich is her main source of damage), ooze keeps dealing dps while UB is taking pots or being chased by Sedna. Finally the ooze effect can kill of Sednas healing minions with the ooze if placed correctly while still attacking Sedna.

ooze can kill the priests, most sednas keep them far enough away though

although i agree with coss it never ever happened to me that ooze killed the priests. even if they were in range. before this could happen sedna or me died or one of us retreated due to nearly no health.

An interesting thing is how the priests are healing. Are they healing Sedna first, then themselfs or is it the other way around? If it's the second scenario (or if there is a random element to healingtarget) then damage to priests could mean less healing for Sedna.

UB with Ooze 3, Spit 3, and Bestial Wrath 3.  Equip as needed, Sedna = dead.  Note: skill is not a factor so assume Sedna stands still.

I'll try to break the mould:

Regulus Level 9:

Items Boots of Speed, Poisoned Dagger, Rejuvenation Elixir, Unbreakable Boots, Vlemish Faceguard, Wand of Speed, Wyrmskin Handguards
Abilities Angelic Fury I, Angelic Fury II, Explosive Mine I, Explosive Mine II, Explosive Mine III, Mark of the Betrayer I, Sniper's Scope I, Sniper's Scope II, Sniper's Scope III

Slow Stacking + sniper scope to kite the Sedna around. Conserve mana as much as possible to try to get Sed to retreat from no mana. Hit priests first or with mines if they are out of the way.

Probably wouldn't work though :P

The Sedna is noob for taking Grace 2 that early. And for dying that early. Most of the builds in this thread only have a chance because of the level and money advantage... personally I think it would be better to brainstorm ways of countering something when you are even or behind.

His monks heal 520hp every 8 seconds

 

Not the best to beat her 1v1 i admit but good for killing towers, getting map control and surviving

Priests always prioritize nearby Demigods before healing other units.

Explanation on Horn of Battle: Self-Regen and killing the central towers are important to QoT in the matchup. Horn of battles wins at both these categories over blood of the fallen. (+10 health, +2000 health to minions over 10 seconds so you can use the priests on towers, then later minotaurs too). Blood is nice, but the 800 HPs shoudn't be needed because of shields, and you should be running long before hanging onto a thread of life because this means you are out of mana.

You know how to play QoT, so you should win with this I think.
