Help with DirectX

I just got the game DEMIGOD and I installed it. Everytime I try to run it I get an error saying it was unable to create Direct3D. Is there any other way I can get it fixed without getting a new graphic card for the computor? If I cannot is it possible to return the game back to the store I bought it from for the same price i payed?

and what graphics card? you don't need a "new graphic card", but if you're running a Geforce FX 5200 or something I'd say you might think about it, because an upgrade for you wouldn't need to be "new"

you may just need to upgrade drivers
