The rules here are simple: Someone posts a good idea, then someone else posts a bad idea. The catch? The bad idea must be a messed-up, corrupted version of the good idea.
For Example:
Good Idea: getting a front-row seat at a boxing match
Bad Idea: Getting an in-ring seat at a boxing match.
Have fun!
Such as?
Well, let's say you had a flesh-eating Virus that slowly ate you alive for a timespan of 40 years, and was incurable.
Richter {^}
Well it depends on what part of me its eating. If it was in my head fine i would want to die. But if it was in my stomach i could live with it
...
Whatever happened to just plain Good/Bad Ideas?
Good Idea: Not doing that anymore
Bad Idea: continuing to do that but with amplifications.
Good Idea: making an interplanetary empire with the technology we currently have.
Bad idea: Doing that in a world where every country is in debt
Good Idea: A land if cheese
Bad Idea: A land of ten year old cheese.
Good Idea: ... Putting your Good Idea here, I can't think of any.
Bad Idea: Inviting people to insert things into places that belong to you.
Good Idea: Volunteering to insert things into places that belong to other people.
Ahem. PWNED.
-Twilight Storm
Bad Idea: Ahem, that is already bad enough and I don't want to think of a worse variation of it.
Good Idea: Inventing a star-trek type transporter to deliver pizzas faster.
Bad Idea - Having pizza transporters that can't distinguish between foreign objects such as flies and random insects so that if they get into the transporter you get a bug pizza.
Good Idea - Having a transporter that allows you to anonomously invade your enemies living room with -oh, say, um, various farm animals!
Bad Idea: Your enemy turns out to be a fluffy ie animal rapist
Good Idea: A teleporter to transport nukes into your nieghbours toilet
Bad Idea: while transporting the nukes into the toilet, the water, and contents, from the toilet are simultaneously shipped to the sender of the nukes.
Good Idea: Using a transporter to create an army just by continually materializing the same pattern of a set of soldiers.
Bad Idea: The above, once you figure out the weakness of set patter, the entire army falls.
Good Idea: having a sniper outside said transporter, in cover.
Bad Idea: having the sniper within transporter range.
Good Idea: using the transporter to beam enemies into the vacuum of space.
bad idea using the transporter to send enemies into your space
good idea: talking about something other than transporters
Bad idea: Obvious topic changes
Good Idea: So, numerarius, I kinda forgot when ur wedding was, did you have it? If so, how'd it go?
Bad Idea: talking about the Creation versus EvolutionISM debate...
(Richter_abend: my wedding was on May 15 and it went well. Life's been difficult financially so far, but my wife and I love each other though.)
Good Idea: assembling heavy spacecraft in orbit rather than on the ground.
Bad Idea: Assembling such heavy spacecraft that it's gravity causes the moon to collide w/ the earth.
(Two month anniversary tommorow then, huh? Well, congrats, and it's only the love that counts. )
Good Idea: Not being Barack Obama atm.
Bad Idea: Being Barak Obama next election.
Thanks for reminding me of that since I've lost track of days, but I should probably do something.
Good Idea: have a new science fiction show made portraying the colonization of the solar system using near-current technology.
Bad idea: doing the above, Titan Maximum style.
Good Idea: Yeah, you probably should.
Bad Idea; The era of books is over!!!
Good Idea: Make a movie so the lazy minds of this era can focus on effects rather than how well you put together a plot. Then if your effects suck. You will get bad reviews
Bad Idea - making a movie of nothing but effects, no plot, characters, just explosions, impossible physics, and awesome camera zooms!
Good Idea - getting a tattoo on your butt - of a butt with a tattoo of a butt on its butt ad infinitum!
Bad Idea: arming a grenade then playing hot potato with it
Good Idea: ummmmmmmm, free ice cream?????
Bad Idea: free anything from random strangers. Remember kids, the universe it out to get you!!!
Good Idea: turning Sins of a Solar Empire into a clip-movie on Youtube using the game for space battle rendition and having sets for inside the spacecraft and stations or on planets.
