Multiplayer communication

Hey, I'm sure this has been discussed before so sorry I'm asking about it, but I always have trouble finding the info.  What are the controls for chatting in a multiplayer game?  I know that "enter" brings up the screen for global chat, but that's about it.

Speaking of chatting, does Impulse have a way to chat with friends while in-game, similar to steam?

Okay, I'll try to be as thorough as possible:

Enter opens chat

/a for allies

/f for a broadcast to all friends online

/wf and tabbing: toggle whisper to online friends

Tab only for whispering players in the same game/channel

/r to reply to the last whisper

/w "name" to whisper someone

Thanks man, using Tab for whispering to players should be very useful, typing in names would be a pain!

Azrak, I did not know about that /r command and I've been playing for over a year and three months.  Holy cow!  That sounds very useful for whispering back to people who have funny names.  All this time and I've never even heard or seen anyone mention the /r ability.

I'll add one too.  /ignore name  -- good for when someone is spamming out annoying text chat in a chat channel.

Yeah, I thought about adding that as well, but he wanted to talk to people, not stop doing it ^_^
