Can't install, keeps giving error

Hi

 I just purchased SOASE today and when i came to install it, it continually gives me the message G:\data\offline\4f461015\8c8db35\abilitypsioribitalcannon.entity. Verify that the file exsists and that you can access it, it gives me 3 options, abort, retry and ignore, if i retry same message comes up again, ignore and the next file comes up with the same error.I've tried installing it on other hard drives all to no avail. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I've had a search around the net and the board but with no luck,

Is this installing from a disk? If it is, download Impulse from http://www.impulsedriven.com and log in with your current forum account. Click on the Impulse orb in the top left and select Register a product. Put in the serial # on the back of the manual.

This will allow you to re-download the latest game version at any time with no limits, so you don't have to bother with the disk.

You will need Impulse anyway to update the game, and there have been so many patches since the release that your patch download size will only be slightly smaller than the full patched game.

thanks for that, will try it now. Yes it is a disk, but still dont know why it wont install direct.

Some drives have just had issues with the disks, it pops up on the forums once in a while. :)
