But can i turn off Live Folders view, so that i just have normal folders again?

I can only seem to turn off thumbnails, which is no good.

Any ideas?

Im sure ive done it before, but i just cant seem to google the answer.

Click the General tab, and then click Use Windows classic folders. (To turn the panes back on, click Show preview and filters.)

I don't have vista so I'm just guessing here...

In Vista,Control Panel/folder options gets you those same options.
