VirtualBox?

I want install my old windows xp and the new windows seven on my laptop with vista, i don't want create a partition for each windows, so i've found a software called "VirtualBox" that seems it can emulate various operative software like osx, linux, solaris and the windows family...it's free but before to install this program i want know if anyone have try this virtualbox, if works good an if you know others similar programs.Thanks

Yes, I used it when i made Ubuntu my primary OS and i ran Windows inside of it. Worked great for me.
