Demigod general section is gone. There is no listing at all.
The forum is very very slow for me (from the UK)
I'm having similar problem. I can see stickies but no regular threads in some sections of Sins forums. For example no threads listed in General and Modding but I can see threads in Multiplayer Organization and Sins news.
I get that, too.
Happened just now and happened days, weeks ago, too.

Yeah, I noticed. Does the forum software get the weekends off too? Or is it a not so subtle hint from Stardock that we are supposed to play the games more instead of arguing about OPed demigod combinations?
The head weeble needs to motivate the code writing pigeons properly on Fridays. He can borrow my whip if he wants!

They just need new forums period. However; they have been better lately since a year ago.

I would reccomend whatever civ fanatics is using. Those forums are always up, never any slowdown that I have experienced.
These are the worst forums I've ever seen any company have. Yes even worse than the new C&C forums when they were launched (they are ok now). Those forums had their problems but at least I could focking read the topics. Here I can only get the sticky topics loaded in the Demigod forums.
at least i don't get accused anymore for imagining things when I complain about poor speed when using firefox.
I'm willing to bet the servers were slow/down at that time and so things got crazy. They're working now, and I'll verify this Saturday around the timeframe you guys had the issue to see if it happens again.

bara the times that seem to be worst are stardock times midnight to between 3am and 8 am and also on weekends

Yeah, I can't say I'm too impressed with your forum implementation. Seems like it's a daily thing for me (in Japan, using Firefox) to have the various sections of the forums (Demigod and Sins) not load up. The main page will load, but if I try clicking on a sub-forum or a particular topic at the bottom of the screen, it won't load at all.
rofl right now I am lagging like hell, stickies are only showing and from certain location other than my home and work.
Wincustomize forums are borked at times also... when actual threads appear on the page, not just 'stickies', clicking on them takes you to the OP and a reply box, no prior replies (to read, quote, answer) and nowhere to go but the back button... forced refresh doesn't work.
We have a bunch of jobs running from around 11PM to 4AM (at various intervals). We're currently looking into moving these jobs to times where there aren't so many people online, but we'll have to manage the jobs so they don't interfere with anything else (like backup jobs). That should resolve most of the issues.

After doing some research with T-Man and Dave (our database guy), it looks as if the jobs may not be what is causing the problem. So I'm stumped, and need more information before I can continue.
