Items should resell for full value

It's a bitch to lose 400g because you misclicked on the item shop, and pointless.

The question is: why punish people for misclicking on the item shop. You can see even in WoW, they offer buyback for items you mis-sold.

This could be a decent idea. If it means:

a ) you purchased the item and did not pick it up via team mate drop

b ) try to resell it in under say, 15 seconds from the moment you bought it

c ) fix idol exploit first :)

Other than that, I'd rather the developers put their time into fixing more pressing matters other than this. Connectivity, friends system, game UI, exploits, etc. But good idea for a wishlist.

If they put in 100% resell, you come again and whine about clicking on the wrong skill point.... (happened to me this morning :waaaa:  )

I can understand your point of the topic, but thats more off a bonus, and nothing is NEEDED to patch in. There are so many things to do first... this morning there were ~20 guests in the chat that couldn't even login for hours or couldn't see any custum games. These are the real problems.

But it's indeed something for a wishlist in nome months/years^^

Make sure your cursor is above the item you want to purchase before you click.

They could add an "Undo" button to the shop, but there shouldn't be 100% resale any time you want.

No. This would take out some of the strategy in the game. Part of the strategy is to carefully choose your items and builds. Having full resale is just fucking stupid. You could basically just swap items and arties around with no consequence and with no strategy involved.

Horrible idea.

1. No they shouldn't offer full sellback, just learn to click on the right item

2. Just cause WoW does something doesn't make it good or right

3. Long live Demigod

Undo at point of sale?  Sure (although, now that I think about it, I could see some potential exploits with passive effects like health/mana regen at the artifact shop).

Full price resale anytime the player wants?  No.

His supposition is not totally pointless, when you sell/buy by mistake, being able to cancel the transaction without losing money would maybe be helpfull. But it is not a huge design flaw, and you mustn't be able to sell a random item at his full retail price. That would kill a whole part of the strategy involved.

They offer buyback for items you mis-sold.  They don't have an "undo buy" button for items you purchase on accident.  Also, many items in WoW take weeks to save for, so that makes a little more sense.  In Demigod, if you misclick then it's only a small penalty.  I don't think i've ever accidentally bought the wrong item in the game.  Just be careful and you'll be fine.

I still cant get over how stupid this idea is..

If you cant even click the right item then you dont deserve to play this game

WoW has so many "stupid-proofing" features it's pathetic.  I'm convinced they added them just so the GMs wouldn't get so many pointless "I screwed up but demand you fix it!" requests.

In summary: No.

Not all of us are playing with top of the line XxXxPro gaming micexXxX, my mouse occasionally over responds causing my cursor to go all over the place because it's a cheap old wireless thing, which can cause me to click on the wrong things, and has cost me items that could sometimes of helped win the game because after selling back the item I accidently bought I'm short some gold for the item I wanted.

But I could see being able to sellback at full price being abused to change your equipment every couple of minutes, maybe if it was within like 10 seconds of you buying the item you could sell it back at full price would be nice, but there are much much much more pressing issues that are pretty simple that need to be fixed before little things like this are added to help the game along.

I'm going to have to place the blame with your mouse and not the game. I've bought wrong items and even skills before. You just have to live with it.
