Can't see online games / Can't host / No online play

So, my friends convinced me to download & buy Demigod. I've had an enjoyable experience crushing the AI for the first 24 hours I've had the game. However, I purchased this game to play with my friends online and I've run into a little trouble.

Whenever I login, I cannot join a skirmish. I can't host. Nor do I see any games listed under the 'Custom Games' section.

 

My windows firewall is disabled. I have my ports open for 6073, 6100-6200 UDP. I have no anti-virus software running. This issue has been FRUSTRATING because all I've wanted to do is play with my friends. I hope one of you will have some insight to my problem. Thanks in advance.

My friend is having the same issue, I've walked him through everything I know how to do from disabling spi firewall, port forwarding windows firewall, authenticating, verifying the install, etc etc.  He's on a WRT-110.

I just wish I understood why this game hates my network config. or whatever is preventing me from getting online!! =)

I have the same problem.  I've verfied through PFPortChecker that my ports are open (6073, 6100-6200 UDP).  Window Firewall is off.  McAfee firewall is off.  Port forwarding is setup in my router.

No matter what I do - I do not see any games under custom games and if I try to join a skirmish, I'm always told I'm the only one waiting for a game.  Any ideas?  This is really frusterating.

I think it is best that you try to isolate the issue. If you can direct connectly to the internet and the problem still occurs then the issue is on your PC, otherwise, you should read your router manual and check what you are doing wrong.
