Yep, becoming Fleet Captain made my day :D

Could you share with us the criteria for the ranks so that Galcivers could have an idea on how to earn them?

bah, its more fun to try and figure it out.

Looks like fleet captain requires masochistic wins,
as some have more games and higher points, but are
still just a captain, then some of those who are
fleet captain.

Well, either its a number of games, a score threshold or
success on more map sizes. All of which I will
eventually have :)

Unless of course its not imped or specially awarded for
something, i dunno.

Here's some more clues for you, Sherlock.

Sergey just got his rank after posting his last game. Cataleptic has not won on Maso.
Chiacow has only been winning Tiny games.

In that case I'll never make it; I just find it more fun to play at Intellitent, which allows me to be more diverse strategy wise due to the less-than-cutthroat competition.

Not that it matters. My Galciv rank is far above my real life one (and I deserve it far less) :D

It may be as simple as a points and games minimum. A difficulty minimum would make sense too, but it may only be crippling, not maso.

Another possiblity is that you have to have submitted a game after the change in code went in for it to update.

That came to mind because I don't see a little happy face next to my medals.

What does the little happy face mean? The "legend" section of the metaverse needs to be expanded for all the new icons.

Actually I believe it is alignment. Hold your cursor over it and check out the tool tip that pops up.

The legend section has been updated... Don't know when.

The smiley face means you're neutral.

Yeah, the smiley shows the alignment you played mostly in your submitted games. Oh... I'm eeeevil.
