I just bought and downloaded the game today and played a couple games before updating. After updating, all text in the game looks like this. It's pretty much impossible to play the game now. Anyone know of a fix?
I meet the min sys req (well maybe not the vid card only have a geforce 8400 GS)
Have you updated your drivers, tried restarting, or tried verifying demigod files?
Done the first two. Should try the last.
EDIT: Nope, verifying didn't help either. 
If you are on vista go to C:\Users\username\Documents\My Games\Gas Powered Games\Demigod
and delete game.prefs and launch the game again.
Well just finished another game. It worked for the most part, but the scores in the upper corner, the prices of items, and a few other numerical figures are still blocked out. Definitely playable still.
Yeah I guess I spoke too soon... Every time the game creates a new game.prefs file, the problem comes back fully. Thanks for the help though...
Set your desktop to 32bit if you need to run in windowed mode. That happens if you're using 16bit (and possibly 24bit as well).
Hehe. I was at work, that was my next suggestion gj kryo. It probably has to do with transparencies not working on 16bit. Glad you are back to playing.
