I am just wondering what the dev's were thinking when they gave the strongest melee class an extremely strong ranged attack aswell...

 

UB tactics = run up, spit, run away, they can solo towers at level 2, as well as most classes. If you attempt to counter spit by attacking the UB, he runs up, and wastes you with his intentionally strong melee skills.

 

I have no problem with the UB as a melee class, but why give the strongest melee class one of the best ranged attacks in the game?

You can heal players rather easily.  Not so with towers.

 

You can heal towers. 2 ways.

1 get tower health and regen from citadel upgrade.

 

OR, my favourite and I have saved many a tower ingame - But the Universal gadget from the item shop. Will heal allied Demigod OR Structure (TOWERS!) fro 2000hp.

Also, with a reg player on your team, lay some mines at UBs spit range near the tower to make him think twice about it.

 

The idea of towers dying permanently is it gives another element to the strategy of the game...  Do you save towers, capture flags, destroy towers, farm minions, kill demis, upgrade citadel, buy gear or items?... these are all strategic based decisions ingame that make this game so excellent.

UB is not overpowered at all.  Spit is his bread and butter skill, he hopes that you think he is all that in melee too, because we all know late game when you hit the 6k health mark UB's spit is useless.   UB has low health, so without spit he couldn't kill you.  However, he is strong enough to kill you as you are trying to run away.

 

He has acclimation its so OP. And they stack their health like hell, which is specially easy cause BotF is so imba.

I said this so often before that I find it not even funny any more, but I want to say it again regardless.

UB gets no special tricks and skills that help him slay enemy DGs. All that UB has is raw power. He can hardly trick any one like some other classes can. He has no fancy skills that can completely knock other DGs off. In a game where tracking devices + minefields + snipe can completely destroy a DG in seconds and where TB can shatter your cooldowns, I'd say that spit is the least of your problems. If you play with a glass DG and expect to take out one of the most dangerous melee DGs in toe-to-toe combat, then your strategies may need some rethinking.

All in all avoiding death by UB can be as simple as starting to run on sight if you cannot survive against the fury that UB can unleash. If you stand your ground when you should not, although it has some bravery to it, you know you will be punished for your foolishness. Since UB has no other tricks up his sleeve, he very well deserves a kill if players underestimate him when UB finally does get to pull off his killer skills.

The only thing that helps is HP Items. Please nerf them.

Hybrid beast laughs at your heals and your silencio! :meow: pounce spam is more deadly but still My money is on beast anytime after about level 5 :p

pounce spam yeah, but heal spam IMHO is quite annoying to the hungry beast who tries to bite off more than he can chew.

truth, but then sed should go at beast only with a backup who can interrupt beasts ghaslty feeding.

useing lvl 1 shield with oak when you have been spit on will nullify the effects, if you have shield active then he spits on you, you will take damage once shield wears off

 

Edit: Also make it so Oak can use Pentance against buildings, then i wont mind if they keep spit unnerfed.
