Unable to move dock icons

I have OD 1.90 bld 535u running on Vista Business x32

Not sure when, but I have lost the ability to change the sequece of dock icons by dragging them. I can add icons by dragging them onto the dock but can only remove icons using the context menu. I cannot drag icons to reorder them at all. I have tried enabling and disabling  'Lock Dragging' from the contect menu and it makes no difference at all.

I can't find any settings anywhere else that might be causing the problem. Any ideas folks?

thanks

Are you using a left-handed mouse? That will cause the issue you are seeing.

I may sound a bit dense but...a left handed mouse??

Well you earned your title of 'Wizard' and definitely some Karma!

What a bizarre side effect of using a left-handed mouse!  More accurately, it is an external mouse on a notebook with the buttons swapped. Reverting the buttons to the default fixed the issue.

On my desktop machine, running Vista Ultimate x64. I have a 'proper' left handed mouse, and this does not suffer the problem at all.

thanks very much

For anyone else reading this post and having the same problem, it only occurs if you have the mouse buttons swapped in the Windows Control Panel>Mouse applet.

My mouse is a Logitech model, and uses SetPoint software. I found that I can swap the buttons in Setpoint instead, and ObjectDock is not affected.

Ditto here.  I have a MS mouse, but haven't liked IntelliPoint in a while as it does the button switch at a level where the software gets closed before anything else, leaving me with a right handed mouse in my left hand.  :annoyed:

I have same thing,  a MS mouse. I cant drag/move the icons when in SWAP modse, but when I undo the SWAP mouse in Ctrl Panel, I can.

For all the left-handers in the world, I hope Stardock can put a "Use Mouse- LH/RH" option in the finished version of OD2.0

For the record, I am right handed but I think the software should accommodate those who are not.;)
