Not really. I've had the exact same thing happen several times in Pantheon games I've entered. What the OP posted isn't new or unique by any means.

Wow, never had that happen before actually. I must be one of the luckier people playing because I rarely have people drop, or games don't lag very often. I do get 2v1's and 1v2's though which aren't very fun being on either side (shallow win/loss).

At least he was ABLE to buy a favor item. Mine is 0 in Pantheon at the moment.
I chose the favor item that match because I had no opponent and just wanted to play around.
As for the hate posts, guys...seriously, grow up. If you hate a country, then you really have too much time on your hands.

Have you noticed how everyone become quiet?
maybe it because about 60% of the people here are from USA
as for me i am from the moon, its just that americans dont know that during the USSR
we build a city over there, which now got a nice population of 9 million people.

I'm happy to say that the only one that I even had to stop to think for a moment for was the Axis of Evil question. Plus, I know my way around a map. (Now if only people would listen to my directions rather than ignoring me...)
