1.)  If I use heart of life while fleeing from the enemy, please make sure that I can use it on the move.  Breaking the current command and having my DG TURN AROUND and start hitting the encroaching DG is useless.  This needs to change.  Taking damage doesn't heal me.

 

2.) If my DG sees a corner, a near-omnipotent being such as he (or she)  should be able to navigate such perilous obstacles  Obviously sometimes it appears that my DG is MR and considers a corner to be a vast chasm so intransversible that he must spend the rest of his spawn judging how to get to the other side.

 

3.) To take #2 to a further extreme, when I tell my demigod to MOVE MOVE MOVE GTFO OUT THE WAY OMFG HOLY CRAP WHY AM I NOT MOVING (*Dead*), this is nonsensical.  Since my demigod is omnipotent, he should know that I'm telling him to go somewhere and not just stand there with his all-powerful thumb up his seemingly non-all-powerful ass.

 

4.) I save up for a super sweet trinket/item (like the Parasite egg) and decide that I want to USE IT on a demigod, PLEASE MAKE SURE THAT I DON'T HAVE TO TRY AND CLICK F1 AND THEN THE DEMIGOD AND HAVE THE ACTION BE IGNORED.  HOLY CRAP.

    After I DO use it, PLEASE LET ME PERFORM ANOTHER SUBSEQUENT ACTION.  I DIDN'T USE THAT ITEM TO WATCH IT BE WASTED.  THERE IS NOTHING COOL ABOUT COOLDOWNS.

 

5.) Good job on the networking situation (seriously).  Had good joining/leaving experiences this evening.

 

6.) Brad sat in irc tonight and NEVER ONCE joined my game.  I can't find ANY REASON WHY HE WOULDN'T WANT TO PLAY WITH AN ADORING FAN LIKE ME.   X(

For me, the favor item: "Wings of Seraphim" (the one which grants health over time) it's a problem that my Demigod stops moving. I use this favor item when I'm fleeing away and I'm about to die, so it doesn't make sense my Demigod stops when I use it. I can click the shortcut key and click away quickly enough for me not to take any damage, but still, it shouldn't be a necessity to be quick on your fingers when all you're trying to do is, in fact, escape.

The "lock" on the demigod is a point and has been discussed in other threads.  I don't think the heart of life should be able to just refill your HP and MP every 30 seconds without the possibility of interrupting the process.  That would just make you too invincible (specially at the ~4k the item costs)

the OP's point is that using HoL makes yuo demi god forget what he was doing, then the ai kicks in and decides as your demigod's not doing anything and there's an enemy nearby you should attack.

not really what you want when fleeing for one's life.

this is actually a wider bug as many items an abilities cause your demigod to forget what he/she was doing.

I agree with the OP. Being unable to round corners and having your F keys ignored is very frustrating.

Yeah, I agree. But these issues must be clear as day for the developers. I can't imagine they sit there thinking "Hey, this demigod is EPIC at cornering. Wow, even a little drifting goin' on there. Man, the pathing is EXCELLENT!"

I find that if you use the Heat of Life, but at the same time keep right clicking to move, then he'll use it and keep moving at the same time.

 

Of course I beleive this only works if you have your items panel hotkeyed.
