Seriously , nudity is a part of life. I think QoT is a symbol of the beauty in naked body. Yes it is partial nudity, no nipples are seen , or vagina. It is basically the same as going to the beach or pool and looking at a girl in a bikini. You were born into this world naked. Why hide that fact?

No offence, but i do not agree with you on the flaming part. I don't se much flaming in this thread. I just see alot of people voicing their opinion about QoT being offensive or not. Sure, there might be one or two flames, but most of the thread is conducted in a more or less civilized tone.

That is what i like with these forums, not much flaming. If you think this thread is flaming, please take a look at other game forums, like WoW for example. There you can talk about flaming threads.

Let's get something clear.  I have no obsession with breasts.  I'm disgusted by the fact that some women have surgeries and wear special bras to "enhance" themselves.  To be perfectly honest, I'm more interested in females for WHO THEY ARE, and I'm turned off by women that feel the need to shove their bodies in a guy's face to get his attention.  So you defend the QoT because you "don't care" whether she is clothed or not.  So you would be equally satisfied if she was wearing a full gown made of leaves?  If that's the case, and you really don't care, fine!  But then why are you picking on me for preferring one option over the other??

Siphaed, those screenshots are very helpful.  In all honesty, I AM NOT OFFENDED BY THAT.  But that in-game depiction of the QoT is a lot smaller and less graphic than the picture on this page, already cited by you all as just a promo image:  http://www.demigodthegame.com/origins/queenofthorns/.

The ESRB ratings are not good at defining the quantity of things.  Sins of a Solar Empire was rated for "mild language" because of ONE word spoken in ONE instance.  I never even hear it, because the units' chatter in RTS games annoys me, so I turn it off.  If I didn't expect the game to have that option, I would have been on the Sins forums asking if the language was brief (like it is) or if the units were mouthing off every time you clicked.  This is the ESRB's problem, because I should not have to ask these kind of questions on a forum when buying a game.  I came on here knowing there was partial nudity, and asking HOW MUCH of it there was.  Believe it or not, quantity IS a factor for me.

As evidenced by Siphaed's screenshots, the QoT's exposure is really very minimal, and is very pixelly at that zoom level anyway.  I'm just as fine with that as you are.

For the record, I agree with the sentiment "if you don't like the content, don't buy it."  In this particular instance, I didn't have a clear picture of the content ("partial nudity" is a wide range) and I was simply trying to obtain said clear picture.  Thank you to those who gave it to me.

Dear Lord the posters in this thread are ignorant! I'd like to appologize to you, BCX, on behalf of the INTELLIGENT and REASONABLE portion of DG's population.

To reiterate the point, QoT is barely visible when playing (in the chaos of the fighting you shouldn't/don't have time to concentrate on the miniscule portions that you can see). Also, the lower you have your graphics, the more pixellated she becomes (and thus harder to make out if you do not have a top end computer).

BCX one more thing you might want to avoid, in the character select screen in single player (I don't remember if its there for multipler, but i don't see why it would be different there) QoT takes about 1/3 to 1/4 the screen but its not the same angle of the image as the promo box image. Its partial side view for waist down and almost frontal view for waist up and image is kinda animated flying with wings. I just thought of this and loaded up single player right fast to confirm before posting.

If you were truely intelligent and reasonable you would know that nudity is perfectly natural and is in no way wrong.

This reminds me of the Hot Coffee business with GTA, I find it incredibly ironic that there is this huge outcry of having *gasp* nudity (which you have to hack the game to unlock, mind you) in an ultra-violent game.

Let's see, nudity is a natural part of life, while killing people for no apparently good reason, will get you the death penalty in most states/countries. I know, let's start a class action law suite over all this evil nudity there is in this game.

There's a heated discussion in a similar vein on GR.  You would all do well to read it.

There is a time and place for nudity , I don't  wants to see my wife nude all the time. To me putting a half nude woman on a video game is a little insulting to gamers as to apply this excite us which in turn sales more games. (maybe it excited a boy who never seen boobs.)  It's natural for a man to have balls but I  would not want to get see in a game   King of thorn balls hanging down going around beat everyone in the head with his large .... well you get the picture.

 By the way bras are not natural but without them women boobs would hang down (naturally) to their knees. So I'm surely not a fan of going 100% natural. Thus QoT is very cheesy.

I go to church but I wouldn't want to see Jesus Christ as a Demi-god either. I don't want games to represent life which is one reason why I play them. It's the same with profanity, I hear this stuff all day long at work so I can  surely do without it in movies and games.
