HaHa, Forget Me Not, Stardock!!

Isn't it just fun when you are sitting in the lobby of a game for 10 minutes, waiting for players on a 4v4 map. You have 6 joined and 2 more joining in who were only reconnecting... and then... BAM!!! Windows -> Fatal Exception -> Close Game (NOOOO!!) -> Hello Impulse Screen.

I have not seen a patch in a week now. Was thinking there would be a few more, especially since the game has not been out for to long. Was actually expecting a patch every day or other day, just to fix minor bugs and tweak the game as needed. I do not know much about Stardock, but I hope they do not pull a "Release and Forget" with the game, leaving it as-is.

Anyways, I'm sure there will be another patch here... I just hope soon. Hopefully the crashing bug in the lobby of a game will be fixed so I can host without crashing out.

Check if you have Steam running.

I hope they do not pull a "Release and Forget" with the game, leaving it as-is.

Yea releasing a patch 3 days after release and constantly adding servers/changing them and staying up till 4am and adding proxy servers after just one week after release is just a complete "Release and Forget".

I have not seen a patch in a week now.

It's Tuesday now. The last patch was Thursday morning and we were setting up additional servers Thursday evening and Friday. We're working on another update and setting up a network of proxy servers which should alleviate most of the remaining connection issues and hope to have that done by the end of this week.

The devs and network crew are working as hard as they can, but please keep in mind they're human too. There are only so many consecutive 10am-4am work days a person can handle.

I hope they do not pull a "Release and Forget" with the game, leaving it as-is.

Not an issue. We're already committed to at least a year of updates.

I believe the devs.. they keep us updated every day and is active at the forum. A few more patches and it will shine.. The game is to fun to not play, bad online support or not :inlove:

Err, there might be some things you can accuse Stardock and GPG of doing wrong in the release of Demigod...

But just releasing and forgetting it is NOT one of them.
