Ok I extracted Galaxyforge.exe but every time I try to open the forge it says it has "encountered a problem and needs to close". I have forge tools 3 and it works I have .net 2.0. Is it possible I have done something wrong or is it the program?

Also in the original game, 1.0, you can edit starting credits, metal and crystal can you still do that on the newer versions? If so where do you do it from?

Any help would be appreciated.

first problem you need all of the files from the rar in the same folder as galaxy forge.exe. several people have had to install dotnet 3.5 before galaxy forge would run.

second question to alter the starting credits/metal/crystal for each player you click on the edit menu then on the players then you click on the player you want to alter and alter the values to your needs.

If I could ask you another question? Is it possible to create ships in this game? Like the star destroyer I've seen around.

that requires a 3d designing tool. I believe that the developers use xsi for the creation of models, and that some of the modelers use some other tools, but I do not know that area yet. I suggest posting a query in the 'ask danman' thread.
