create groups in explorer

Hello,

i have a little problem. I’m using Vista and I have some Virtual Drives. So, when I click on “Computer” you see the Groups “Hardrives”, “CD/DVD Drives” and another group called “Others”. My Problem is, I will create a group called “Virtual Drives” and “USB-Drives”. Is it possible? My Virtual Drive are in the Group “Geräte mit Wechselmedien” (I’m sorry, I don’t know the englisch word for that group). In this Group are the CD and DVD Drives and the Virtual Drives. But I want to have a separate group for Virtual Drives and a Group for USB-Drives. The USB-Drives are in the group “Harddrives”.

Drive (G:) on the picture is an external USB Drive.

So, is it possible to create a new Group????, …or are there some programs for doin’ that??

Sorry for my english, but I hope you understand my problem.

Ok, mine Vista is Finnish based..... but anyway.... go your computer management via Link or Control panel. Then disk management or similar, and now you can set priorities for each partitions. Even virtual ones. IF YOU SCREW UP, send roses to MS/USA.  |-)

But i sugges that you have a boot DVD, just in case, because it is possible that 1 wrong setting don't even allow safe mode or anything and you are stuck! So, make sure you have Boot DVD available. SERIOUSLY! :typo:
