Multiple Sins versions

Hello all!

Probably a silly question, but can someone explain to me how I can have different versions of Sins installed?  I have entrenchment (not sure if that matters) and I would like to play some non-entrenchment mods but they don't work with tue current version I have installed.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!  :)

Well, if you don't have a disk there's not much you can do, since Impulse only carries the latest update. With a disk, you can install 1.0, patch to 1.05 (the latest standalone), make a copy of the folder, then update again with Impulse. Then you'll have 1.05 out of the copied folder and the fully updated one from the main install.

After the patches were made Impulse-only, you'll have to manually archive each version install so that you can install from that (like if you wanted 1.1 and not 1.16).

Lucky for me I do have a disk.  So I just need to uninstall what I have, reinstall, patch to the version I want, copy and paste the folder elsewhere, then patch again?

Yep! Again you can only do that up to 1.05, after that the updates started being Impulse only so from 1.05 you can only patch up to the latest 1.16, not anywhere in between. But any 1.1 mod should pretty much work for the entire patch series (1.10 > 1.16), I believe.
