being an old man and not too swift, how do you jump to another star system. I've maxed out allthe research and have a large fleet ,but can't manage to jump to the other stars to finish the job. thanks
After you've researched the necessary technology, you can jump directly from one star's gravity well into another's. You must enter and leave a star system through the star's gravity well. Some systems will also have wormholes that may lead to another star system, but this is not always the case.
not really, if you have a connecting phase lane from one star to another i am pretty sure you jump from star to star using phase lanes, but you will have to follow a certain direction. only the research allows you to star jump from any star to any star
If there are conventional phase lanes that go between stars, then yes you can follow those. However, very few maps have them. The vast majority of the time you make your research, move to the star's gravity well, then target another star.
