Ok need help with the conversion of my old maps to the new 1.16 conversion tool no longer works
They are OLD maps from before ENTRENCHMENT can someone give the step-by-step instruction for upgrading these maps?
Galaxy forge 3 does not convert the old maps so who can do this explanation?
step 1 download & install either winrar or 7zip I suggest googleing them
step 2 download & extract my sins map updater v2 all files into a folder on the computer
step 3 create a shortcut to the sins map updater.exe on the desktop
step 4 make sure that all maps are in the galxyforge folder beside the mods folder ie xp C:\Documents and Settings\'user name'\Local Settings\Application Data\Ironclad Games\Sins of a Solar Empire\GalaxyForge or for vista/w7 C:\Users\'user name'\AppData\Local\Ironclad Games\Sins of a Solar Empire\Galaxyforge (note the two folders after the user name are hidden so you will have to UNHIDE the hidden folders in folder settings
step 5 run my sins map updater
step 6 click on 'find galaxies'
step 7 click on 'fix galaxies'
step 8 click on 'exit'
step 9 run sins start a new game then click on the change maps button untill you get to the galaxy forge group, then choose the map you want to play & enjoy

This updater says I need version 1.1.6, but I have 1.1.7. How do I un-update in order to use this?
version 2.00 and v2.01 both can work without the 'targetsinsver.txt' which contains the text for the sins version to be tested for(so delete 'targetsinsver.txt' from the folder that the map updater v2.00 or v2.01 is installed to),
also you can edit the 'targetsinsver.txt' to contain '1.1.7.0'
bothe of the above methods WILL fix the problem.

Actually, as per usual, neither of them work. It won't let me delete them, or change them!
Ah well, I'll fiddle with it. Thanks for getting me this far.
EDIT: I fixed it! *pumps arm* At least, 28 of them work now.
